Thankful
My husband and I cruise a lot, I’m a travel agent, and now have the flexibility since I “semi-retired” after 20 years from my full time teaching job. With this new lifestyle, the weight has been going up with each cruise, and my negative self talk has gone up with it.
So here we are on our first cruise since I started with Wildflower. It’s a short weekend cruise, and I was concerned to see how I would do with all of the temptation. I figured this would be my “pre-game” cruise for our longer one in March.
Wildflower has given me my life back! I brought along my snacks, fiber iced tea mix, my shake if needed, and a giant insulated water bottle. Day 1 - morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner - all fueled up - and on plan! I drank enough water to float away… 😂
Day 2 - breakfast is in the books, and I’m so proud of myself! Instead of feeling distressed from overeating, I’m feeling proud! I told my husband that I wish my body looked as good as my eating, but it’s been only one month since I began. That’s to come!
This is a long post, but I’m feeling so positive and thankful for all that Wildflower is providing for me. I knew that I would follow the plan, but I thought I would feel deprived. I don’t! My mindset is back in the right place all because of Wildflower!


That’s a huge accomplishment. I just went on a cruise in December (before joining Wildflower) and I can’t imagine avoiding all those temptations.
