Anyone Can Run!

Hi all! I just wanted to hop in the chat and share my preferred method of cardio, which is often the most dreaded, running. I started running with some friends in 2018 as a social way to stay active (I never ran previously, I actually hated the track team my friend signed me up for in middle school and my parents wouldn’t let me quit!), and when I was pregnant in 2019 I discovered the Run/Walk/Run method, perfected by the late Olympian, Jeff Galloway. Taking scheduled walk breaks ever 30seconds, 60 seconds, etc allows you to run further with less fatigue. I linked the website above if you want to read more!


I love that running has become more accessible to all, and anyone out on a course is celebrated, whether walking, running, or skipping (if you’re my 6 year old). Signing up for a local race can be a fun way to stay motivated and a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning. And if you run a themed race, it’s a fun excuse to dress up ☺️

Just saw this! I do a lot of the rundisney races as well with my husband! If anyone ever wants to meet up at any of them or just go for a stroll around town, let me know!
